Master of Arts in Education in Ontario
Central Michigan University has offered the Master of Arts in Education in Ontario since 1977. Our graduates support the growth and influence of the Ontario College System as college presidents and administrators; college-level educators; and training and development officers in industry, the military and health care.
The Master of Arts degree in Education is an applied degree with a solid core in advanced technology, program evaluation, student development and leadership. The new techniques you learn in class one day, you’ll be ready to implement the next.
Courses are taught at select Ontario colleges in eight-week terms. Many courses offer the convenience and flexibility of a combination of face-to-face and online formats.

Administration/Student Affairs Emphasis
When advancement is your goal, this is the program for you. Graduates have become deans, college presidents, student affairs officers, college administrators, program chairs and community leaders across Ontario.
College Teaching Emphasis
Do you have a degree in a teachable discipline? Have you considered teaching at the college level? This master’s degree will prepare you to join the academic community and teach future generations of Ontario students.
Training and Development Emphasis
